One celebration more! Ham4Ham host Lin-Manuel Miranda announced the lineup for the final June 2 Ham4Ham concert on his instagram May 31, and it is filled with several of the season's most popular shows.
The series, revived this year in support of the Tony nominees for Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical, will welcome cast members from & Juliet, New York, New York, and Into The Woods to the lineup for the final concert prior to the Tony Awards June 11. Specific stars and songs will not be revealed until the show begins.
All Ham4Hams are presented on the steps of the Richard Rodgers Theatre beginning at 4 PM ET. Playbill recommends showing up early in order to secure prime visibility, as the concerts are always highly attended; alternatively, you can check out a livestream of the presentation on Playbill's instagram!
The outdoor impromptu concert series Ham4Ham was a mainstay of the megamusical Hamilton in the year following its starry 2015 premiere on Broadway, with composer and star Miranda greeting hopefuls in line for each performance's discount ticket lottery with a performance on the steps of the theatre, sometimes improvised, and often including guests from their neighboring shows.
