As previously announced, Michelle Ryan, best known for playing Zoe Slater in "EastEnders" for five years and the title role in the remake of "The Bionic Woman," will make her West End stage debut as Sally Bowles, and singer-songwriter Will Young will star as the Emcee.
The production will embark on a four-week U.K. tour prior to its arrival in the West End, beginning performances at Southampton's Mayflower Theatre Sept. 3 before visiting Nottingham, Norwich and Salford Quays.
In the musical, Young and Ryan will be joined by Phillips (Hedda Gabler, BBC's "I Claudius," "Clash of the Titans") as Fraulein Schneider, Rawle (Martin Guerre at the Prince Edward Theatre, Evita at the Adelphi) as Cliff, Haft ("Moulin Rouge!") as Herr Schultz and Tizzard as Ernst. Thorpe (BBC's "The Brittas Empire"), from the original Norris production, reprises her role as Fraulein Kost.
The ensemble includes John Brannoch, Jessica Ellen, Allessia Lugoboni, Edd Mitton, Ian Parsons, Nuno Silva, Rebecca Sutherland, Shahla Tarrant, Laura Tyrer, Cydney Uffindell-Phillips and Matthew Wesley.
Cabaret will play a 15-week-only engagement at The Savoy Theatre in London's West End. The production features design by Katrina Lindsay and choreography by Javier De Frutos.
