The fourth annual event marks World AIDS Day and supports Broadway Cares.

Playbill will commemorate World AIDS Day with the fourth annual Remember the Ribbon: A Tribute to World AIDS Day, streaming free on Playbill December 1-3. The event will be filmed at Sony Hall November 13, and will be given as a fundraiser for Broadway Cares.

ABC7's Karl J. Schmid will host the event, which will feature appearances from Tony nominee Shoshana Bean (Hell's Kitchen), Willam Belli (RuPaul's Drag RaceTitaníque), Tony honoree Julie Halston, Tony nominee Victor Garber, Anne Frasier Thomas (Titaníque), Dimitri J. Moïse (Titaníque), Michael Buchanan (The Addams Family), Tim Young (Next to Normal), Robbie Torres, Coulby Jenkins, Joe Beauregard (Moulin Rouge!), and Darius Wright (New York, New York). Guest speakers will include Playbill's Alex Birsh and representatives from Broadway Cares and Gilead Sciences.

"Playbill is proud to host Remember the Ribbon for our fourth year, as we continue to honor our beloved friends, members of our community and beyond who have been affected by HIV and AIDS," says Birsh, Playbill’s vice president and chief operating officer. "We so look forward to spending the evening with Broadway Cares and our sponsors, Gilead Sciences, Fellow Travelers, Sony Hall, and Hotel Edison, without whom the evening and event would not be possible."

Remember the Ribbon will stream on Playbill.com and Playbill's YouTube channel, both including a donation button inviting viewers to make a contribution to Broadway Cares, which works to provide meals, medication, healthcare, and hope for those in need across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C. The event is made possible by premier sponsor Gilead Sciences and presented in part by Paramount+ series Fellow Travelers (available to Paramount+ subscribers with the Showtime plan), with additional support from Hotel Edison and Sony Hall.

The evening is being co-directed by Bryan Campione and Leonard Rodino, with Corey Mach's Broadway Sings providing music. Cynthia Meng is music directing, with arrangements by Meng and Joshua Stephen Kartes. Sydney Steele will be production stage manager with Kevin McConville and Mason Huse as associate stage managers. Event producers include Joshua Stone, Jolie Schaffzin, Jim Cairl, and Lane Beauchamp.
