A New York theatrical institution that closed during the pandemic is back: Shetler Studios, a collection of studios and rehearsal rooms of various sizes that the theatre community has used for three decades of rehearsals, auditions, coachings, voice lessons, and more. Closed in 2020, the space is back with a new name: AMDA Studio Rentals.
AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts stepped in when the space, located on West 54th Street, originally closed to preserve the facility and transform it into a new campus, but is now offering the renovated studios for public rentals again. Also back is Shetler's former Managing Artistic Director Shetler Robin A. Paterson, who is now managing the space as part of the AMDA family.
Those interested in booking space at AMDA Studio Rentals can submit a request form at AMDAStudioRentals.com, or send an email to [email protected].
