How do you follow up an Off-Broadway hit that ran for more than 450 performances? If you're Sherry Glaser, you follow Family Secrets with Diosa!: Oh My Goddess, a new one-woman show to be shown as a work-in-progress at San Rafael CA's Osher Marin Jewish Community Center, starting Feb. 27. First performed in 1995 at the Michigan Women's Festival, Diosa! revolves around Miguel, a man who travels blindly through the mainstream until he's struck by a sickness that forces him to consider the significance of his life. He then delves into his many lives and realizes he worked as a waiter in each of them -- even at Christ's Last Supper. Ultimately, the Great Jewish Mother channels through his body.

Part of Osher Marin's Solo Spotlight Series, Glaser's character-based comedy runs at the Hoytt Theatre on San Pedro Road through March 27. For tickts ($18-$20) and information, call (510) 762-BASS.
