The new musical features beloved Sesame Street characters like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Grover, Rosita, Bert, Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, The Count, and more—in their original puppet forms—alongside Broadway guest stars, singing both classic songs from the long-running TV series as well as new songs written for the production by current Broadway songwriters Tom Kitt (Almost Famous) and Helen Park (KPOP). Composer Nate Edmondson, who collaborated with Rockefeller Productions on Disney’s Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation, also contributed songs for the new Off-Broadway puppet stage musical.
