The Broadway production features 2022 Tony nominees Lee and Morrison, Antwayn Hopper, James Jackson, Jr., John-Michael Lyles, and Jason Veasey reprising their performances from the 2019 Off-Broadway world premiere of the work, along with newcomer and fellow 2022 Tony nominee Spivey as Usher.
Also on the musical's creative team are costume designer Montana Levi Blanco, music director Rona Siddiqui, and casting director Destiny Lilly of The Telsey Office.
