Milwaukee Rep's A Christmas Carol is back at the Wisconsin theatre through December 24, adapted and directed by Artistic Director Mark Clements. See photos from the production below.
This year's run of the classic Charles Dickens story is led by Matt Daniels, playing both Dickens and Ebenezer Scrooge.
Daniels shares the stage with Silver Anderson, Coco Archuleta, Jordan Anthony Arredondo, Antonio Banks, Savannah Carlson, Mark Corkins, Todd Denning, Kimberly Giddens, Scarlett Hirano, Zoah Hirano, Carrie Hitchcock, Jack Hradecky, Naomi Kalter, Michael Kostreva, Maura Kuhnen-Grooms, Ziva Lavoe, George Lorimer, Reese Madigan, Leo Madson, Calvin Marks, Isla Marks, Malachi Marrero, Patti Meadors, Annalise Nordstrom, Robin Nordstrom, Natalie Ottman, AJ Paramo, Christopher Peltier, William Perkins, James Pickering, Max Pink, Jaelyn Raiford, Rána Roman, Cole Sison, Lainey Tecthmann, Vivian Vaeth, Lindsey Volk, Jace White, Aja Wiltshire, and Tami Workentin.
Clements' creative team includes music director and conductor Dan Kazemi, scenic designer Todd Edward Ivins, costume designer Alexander B. Tecoma, lighting designer Jeff Nellis, sound designer Barry G. Funderburg, and movement director Michael Pink. The production features original music and arrangements by John Tanner, orchestrations by Larry Moore, and casting by Jonathan Hetler. Becca Lindsey is stage manager.
The National Asian American Theatre Company production will give a world premiere to a new modern verse translation of the Shakespeare play from Andrea Thome.
