The benefit boasted performances by Ephraim Sykes (Ain’t Too Proud), Jeanna de Waal (Diana: The Musical), Nichelle Lewis (The Wiz), Nikki Renée Daniels (Once Upon a Mattress), and Jeff Kready (The Great Gatsby) plus a special appearance by Tony nominee Richard Kind (The Big Knife, upcoming All In).
Under the direction of Drama League Directors Project Alum Elena Araoz, the evening also featured a strolling supper, cocktails, live music by Third Reprise, interactive experiences, celebrity bartenders, and dancing. The Arts Ally Award, annually honoring those who strengthen the foundation upon which the arts stand, was presented to Tony-winning producer Patty Baker of Good Productions.
The Drama League has been at the forefront of the American theatre community since 1916, providing lifelong artistic resources for directors and a platform for dialogue with audiences.
