Cast of Aladdin

Aladdin, which opened March 20, 2014, at the New Amsterdam Theatre, hit the 1,001 mark at the Sunday matinee show, August 7. This week it will surpass the 1,004-performance run of Newsies to become Disney's fifth-longest running show, after The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins and Aida.
