Robert Christophe [sic] writes and performs a new comedy, Michigan Impossible, which opens June 21 at the John Houseman Studio. The limited engagement runs through Sept. 22. Directed and co-developed by Christophe's wife, Kim Waldauer, Michigan Impossible examines a multi-cultural young man, Jesse Boles, and his search for racial identity. Part Irish, two parts native American and one part African-American, Boles is unable to determine which is the "correct box to check."
The one-man show is produced by Red Road Productions and was received well in Philadelphia.
Tickets are $35. The John Houseman is located at 450 West 42nd St. For tickets call TicketCentral at (212) 279 4200 or visit michiganimpossible.com.
