The evening begins at 7 PM with a reception. A question-and-answer session with Fred Willard, who starred in the film, will be held at 8 PM moderated by Playbill editor in chief Blake Ross. The screening will immediately follow.

"Waiting For Guffman," according to press notes, "tells the story of an aspiring director and the marginally talented amateur cast of a hokey small-town Missouri musical production, who go overboard when they learn that someone from Broadway will be in attendance." Directed by Christopher Guest, the cast features Guest, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Parker Posey, Willard and Bob Balaban.

The Actors Fund Arts Center at the Schermerhorn is located at 160 Schermerhorn Street (between Smith & Hoyt Street) in Brooklyn. Click here for ticket information.
