Grammy winner Sara Bareilles has joined the 2022 Roundabout Theatre Company Gala, to be held March 7 at 7 PM at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. As previously announced, the Paint the Town Gala will honor Chita Rivera with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.
Bareilles, Tony-nominated for her score for the musical Waitress, will perform a special concert created exclusively for the event. The singer-songwriter has received several Grammy nominations for her music, and took home the award for Best American Roots Performance for the 2019 single "Saint Honesty."
All proceeds from the gala will benefit Roundabout’s theatrical and educational programs and support efforts to amplify and strengthen the company’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion on and off the stage.
