Lopez is collaborating with his brother Billy on the new comedy series for ABC Studios. Details on the series are forthcoming. The Lopez brothers previously collaborated on songs for "The Wonder Pets" and the musical episode of ABC's "Scrubs."
With Jeff Marx, Robert Lopez shared the Best Score Tony Award for Avenue Q. With Trey Parker and Matt Stone, he co-wrote the book and songs for The Book Mormon, winning Tonys for Best Book and Best Score. The Book of Mormon is set to begin a national tour late this summer and a reported London run in 2013.
Robert Lopez is collaborating with his wife Kristin Anderson Lopez on the new romantic musical Up Here. They also penned songs for the 2011 Disney animated feature "Winnie-the-Pooh."
