Shakespeare's tragedy about the "bunch-backed" King of England launched its international tour at the Young Vic in June and will end its global journey Jan. 10-March 4, 2012, at BAM.
Directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes, Richard III will play Qatar Dec. 16 and 17 at the Qatar National Convention Centre. It is being hosted by the Doha Film Institute.
Qatar is an addition to the international dates for Richard III, which is currently playing the Singapore Repertory Theatre through Nov. 26. Previous stops included the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, Hong Kong Arts Festival and Centro Niemeyer, Spain.
