Awards Recipients of 2022 Del Hughes Awards for Lifetime Achievement in Stage Management Named

Instituted in 1986, the award is named for the Broadway and television stage manager and director whose career spanned from 1933 to the 1970s.

The Stage Managers’ Association has announced the recipients of the 2022 Del Hughes Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Art of Stage Management.

This year's honorees are corporate, event, and theatrical stage manager Andrew Feigin, opera stage manager Raymond Menard, and theatrical stage manager Bernita Robinson. The SMA will also honor Marguerite Price with The Founders Award and Narda E. Alcorn and Lisa Porter with a Special Recognition Award.

Instituted in 1986, the award is named for Del Hughes, whose career as a Broadway and television stage manager as well as a TV director spanned from 1933 to the 1970s. Honorees are chosen each February from nominations submitted by industry members.

Recipients will be honored at The Del Hughes Awards October 24, with details to be announced.
