The West End production of Heathers, the musical adaptation of the 1988 dark comedy, officially opened at Theatre Royal Haymarket September 13. The production, directed by Andy Flickman, premiered at The Other Palace earlier this year.
Leading the cast of the Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy musical is Carrie Hope Fletcher as Veronica, the high school girl plucked from nothingness by the ultimate vicious clique of the three Heathers: Heather Chandler (Jodie Steele), Heather Duke (T’Shan Williams), and Heather McNamara (Sophie Isaacs). When mysterious new kid JD (Jamie Muscato) arrives, he and Veronica team up to put an end to their bullying—at whatever cost.

Playbill will continue to update this list as more reviews come in.
The cast also includes Nathan Amzi, Merryl Ansah, Chris Chung, Dominic Anderson, Jenny O’Leary, Rebecca Lock, Jon Boydon, Alex James Hatton, Charlotte Jaconelli, Lauren Drew, John Lumsden, Hugh Maynard, Olivia Moore, and Sergio Pasquariello.
Following a 2013 Los Angeles premiere and 2014 Off-Broadway engagement, the show gained a cult-like following similar to the original film. The Other Palace played host to a workshop presentation (which incorporated some new material) last year before the official London premiere.
The new staging also features choreography by Gary Lloyd, sets and costumes by David Shields, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, and sound design by Dan Samson.
