"CBS Sunday Morning," a rare network TV newsmagazine that regularly commits to arts and theatre coverage, will profile Broadway director choreographer Susan Stroman 9 AM (ET) April 23.

Stroman, whose choreographic work has included Crazy For You, Big, And the World Goes 'Round, Show Boat and the Royal National Theatre's Oklahoma!, is white-hot this season in Manhattan with the direction and dances for Lincoln Center Theater's Contact, considered a favorite for a Best Musical Tony Award nomination, and direction choreography for the aborning revival of The Music Man, opening April 27 at the Neil Simon Theatre.

Other projects on the horizon include stage versions of The Producers and The Night They Raided Minsky's (the latter, which she was to choreograph, is on hold), as well as a new musical written by Harry Connick, Jr. A national tour of Contact, the "dance play" with a book by John Weidman and recorded music, has recently been announced.
