Two-time Tony winner Christian Borle, most recently on Broadway in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, made his New York directorial debut with James Hindman’s Popcorn Falls, which officially opened October 8 at the Davenport Theatre.
Adam Heller (It Shoulda Been You, Elf the Musical) and Tom Souhrada (Desperate Measures, Mary Poppins) co-star, playing 20 roles in under 90 minutes.

Popcorn Falls features scenic design by Tim Mackabee, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, costume design by Joseph La Corte, and original music composed by Jeffrey Lodin.
Published 90 years ago, Mint Theater presents Miles Malleson's unromantic comedy with Jermyn Street Theatre after debuting the previously unseen work in New York City in 2017.
Lamar Richardson, Lileana Blain-Cruz, Christen James, Martyna Majok, Saheem Ali, and more attended Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' new play at Signature Theatre.
The evening was hosted by Rachel Dratch and Julianne Hough, and featured performances from Betsy Wolfe, Jordan Donica, Abby Mueller, and Stephanie D'Abruzzo.
