Full given name: Sarah Grace Stiles
Hometown: Strafford, NH
Zodiac Sign: Gemini
What your parents do for a living: Mom is a holistic healer who teaches kids how to knit and does empowering "I am woman, hear me roar!" kinds of workshops twice a year. Dad is a cranial sacral therapist.
Current audition song/monologue: "What More Do I Need?" by Mr. Sondheim. What's a monologue? smile
Special skills: Hula hooping, and I'm a super fast knitter.
Something you're REALLY bad at: Ping pong
First Broadway show you ever saw: Technically, Jekyll & Hyde. But my heart says Les Miz. Saw the national tour at the Wang Center in Boston when I was in 5th grade and fell in theatre love.

If you could go back in time and catch any show, what would it be? Mack & Mabel. Who wouldn't want to see a baby Bernadette sing that score?!
Favorite showtune of all time: "Some People" from Gypsy. I get really cheesy and sing it at the top of my lungs when I'm feeling really strongly in one direction emotionally. Happy, angry, excited... doesn't matter which "direction" as long as it's strong. Belting Ethel-style is a complete release!
Three favorite musicals: Into the Woods (genius)
Mack & Mabel (for the amazing score)
Analog and Vinyl (new Paul Gordon show I just workshopped. It is To. Die. For. Keep an eye out for it!)
Broadway star of the past you would most have loved to perform with: Always Ethel!
Music that makes you cry, any genre: Elegies at the small theatre in Lincoln Center. My dear friend and manager Bryan took me, didn't have any idea what it was. Totally went on this crazy emotional journey. It felt like a really good therapy session. Just beautiful.
MAC or PC? PC, but not happy about it.
Most played song on your iPod: Most played song on your iPod: I go through phases. Right now- "I Won't" Colbie Caillat. Embarrassing. STILL trying to get over a boy. Boo.
Favorite Kardashian: I. Love. Them. All. You cannot choose one. They are the perfect trio of complete ridiculousness that balance each other beautifully.

Last good movie you saw: "The Black Swan"
Must-see TV shows: "Modern Family"
"Chelsea Lately"
"SportsCenter" recap show on Monday mornings
A few of your favorite TV series of all time: "The Cosby Show"
"Gummi Bears"
"Beverly Hills 90210 (high school years.... trust)
Performer you would drop everything to go see: Howie Michael Smith (He's my heart!)
Pop culture guilty pleasure: Ummmm.... E! and everything that channel has to offer.
Three favorite cities: New York, Denver, Portsmouth, NH
Favorite sport/team/player: The Patriots!
First CD/Tape/LP you owned: Ace of Base
Moment you knew you wanted to perform for a living: The minute a musical director at a summer camp I went to as a ten-year-old pressed on my diaphragm and said "sing from way down here!" That's when I learned to belt and it was something that felt that right. I knew I was never gonna be able to give up!
How you got your Equity card: Ursula in Bye Bye Birdie at Theatre by the Sea in Rhode Island.
Favorite pre-/post- show meal: Burger before. I need the red meat! I don't care what place it's from, but 5 Napkin Burger is my fave. Afterward, empanadas and sangria at Sosa Borella.
Favorite liquid refreshment: An Oyster Bay cocktail. Thank you Lauren Kennedy for that obsession.
Approach to singing: I put everything I'm feeling in the day into my singing. That makes me a good singer.
Most embarrassing or spectacular flubbed line/missed cue/onstage mishap: In Avenue Q last spring. As Kate Monster I asked Princeton "Is her name.... Plur-pis?" Instead of "Is her name.... purpose?" My brain completely farted. Me and the other actor started laughing and so did the audience and I finally said "Let me try that again" and I proceeded to say the line correctly. I love when mess-ups happen.
Pre-show rituals or warm-ups: I vocally warmup and stretch a bit and always tell my stagehands that I love them right before I walk out on stage.
Worst costume ever: Giant fat clown suit in Dr. Dolittle that was originally designed for a six-foot-tall man.
Worst job you ever had: Elf at Macy's. Yup. Embarrassing.
Most memorable audience interaction or stage door moment: A got a note from a young girl when I was doing Spelling Bee on the road that was so personal and sweet. It was all about how much she related to my character Logainne, and how seeing the show made her feel like she has a place in the world. I keep that note on my dressing room table wherever I go to remind me to always give 100 percent cause a little girl who needs you may be in the audience that day.
Leading lady role you've been dying to play: Mabel in Mack & Mabel. Am I repeating myself? I know... I'm a broken record!
Something about you that surprises people: I love watching commercials. I find a lot of them hilarious. Newest favorite: that little cartoon guy that gets so overwhelmed he shorts out. AT&T.
Career you would want if not a performer: Fashion designer
Three things you can't live without: Boiled eggs, long vintage necklaces, Howie Michael Smith on speed dial
"I'll never understand why…" ... farting in public is embarrassing for some people.

Farting. Always funny. And people need to spend more time laughing than anything else.
