Playbill On-Line welcomes Robert Simonson as our new full-time news reporter. Simonson was recently with Back Stage magazine, where he was staff writer for more than two years. Prior to that, he held the position of editor at Stagebill. He will cover breaking news in New York and throughout the U.S. Simonson's writing on theatre and the arts have appeared in The Village Voice, Time Out New York, Stagebill, TheaterWeek, and Jazziz. His first book, "Role of a Lifetime," will be published by Watson-Guptill this fall.
He joins Playbill On-Line's eight full-time staffers, including fellow staff writer David Lefkowitz, plus one editorial assistant and 20 correspondents.
