Lincoln Center presented the world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon's song cycle Orpheus and Euridice at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall on October 5.
The hour-long piece features soprano Elizabeth Futral as Euridice, clarinetist Todd Palmer as Orpheus, and the dance troupe Doug Varone and Dancers. Melvin Chen is the pianist; Varone directs.
