Directed and choreographed by Vince Pesce (Anything Goes' associate choreographer on Broadway), the limited engagement will continue through Dec. 9. Pesce picked up the directorial reins after the production's original director Casey Hushion pulled out due to a family matter.
The cast includes Liz Pearce (Billy Elliot) as Lettie, Khris Lewin (Goodspeed's My One And Only) as Flint, Ron Wisniski (Goodspeed's Me and My Girl) as Clive, Julia Osborne (Goodspeed's Half a Sixpence) as Hope Langdon, Peter Van Wagner ("Boardwalk Empire") as Dr. Grayburn, Benjamin Eakeley (On a Clear Day You Can See Forever) as Nigel Rancour, Drama Desk nominee Lynne Wintersteller (A Grand Night for Singing) as Lady Manley-Prowe, Ed Dixon (Anything Goes) as Colonel Gillweather, Audrie Neenan (Sister Act) as Miss Tweed and Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music) as Geoffrey. Understudies are Madeleine Doherty (Broadway’s Sister Act, The Producers and Les Miserables and Goodspeed’s Jim Henson’s Emmet Otters Jug-Band Christmas), Alyssa Gagarin and Bronson Norris Murphy. Something's Afoot features a book, music and lyrics by James McDonald, David Vos and Robert Gerlach with additional music by Ed Linderman.
Here's how Goodspeed describes the work: "An old English mansion. A raging thunderstorm. Ten strangers. Murder, mystery, music and comedy abound when the guests disappear one by one — knocked off by cleverly fiendish devices. Join the fun as Miss Tweed the amateur sleuth sets out to solve the crimes…but the butler didn't do it!"
Other members of the creative team include music director Michael O'Flaherty, scenic designer Adrian W. Jones, costume designer Tracy Christensen, lighting designer Jason Lyons, sound designer Jay Hilton, assistant music director William J. Thomas and orchestrator Dan DeLange.
Goodspeed Musicals produces three musicals each season at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, CT, and additional productions at The Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, CT. Goodspeed Opera House is located at 6 Main Street in East Haddam, CT.

A little listening material for the gym. Yes, I benched 850lbs listening to “Why Do The Wrong People Travel?”

Warming up before the show. Or shows, I should say.

A pre-show breakfast at the infamous Whistle Stop Café. This place should be featured on "Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives" hands down.

Pre-Act 1. I’d like to mention that the opening of the show is titled “Weekend in the Country Air”. Which led me to ask, which came first, Something’s Afoot or A Little Night Music?

Ed Dixon, veteran of 15 Broadway shows, who steals our show nightly. Well. Not from everyone. :-)

“Boardwalk Empire” star Peter Van Wagner, filling out his absentee ballot just after his character was killed off. Sucks to be him. Or does it?

Liz Pearce, who plays the saucy maid, catching up on a little reading. And what better reading than Ed Dixon’s incredible memoir. It’s so good you would think it was fiction.
