Mary Louise Parker,the star of Proof, posed at the play's Broadway opening night party Oct. 24 with her mother Caroline and actress Cicley Tyson.
Set in Chicago, Proof has Parker as secretive Catherine, who, after the death of her father, is visited by his ghost (Larry Bryggman), her upscale, critical sister (Johanna Day) and an awkward, unexpected suitor, a student of her father's (Ben Shenkman). The play, which ran Off-Broadway at Manhattan Theatre Club May 23-July 30, transferred to Broadway's Walter Kerr.
