San Diego's Balboa Theatre has nabbed a late August run of the Tony-winning musical before the tour officially launches at San Francisco's Curran Theatre in September. (For more information on the tour, click here for Playbill.com's coverage.)
Riabko, who plays Melchior, has a solo recording "Before I Speak" on the Columbia Records label. He has also toured with musicians including Jason Mraz, Maroon 5 and John Mayer.
Bashoff, the new Moritz, has been seen on "Lost," "Judging Amy," "Numb3rs," "Without a Trace" and "One Tree Hill" as well as in films like "Bushwhacked," "Big Bully" and the upcoming "Together Again for the First Time."
