As part of the festivities, Starbucks made a $5,000 donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Accepting the donation on behalf of the theatre community were Spring Awakening's Blake Bashoff and Christine Estabrook.
Bashoff, currently starring as the ill-fated Moritz, has been seen on numerous television series including "Lost, "Judging Amy," "Numb3rs," "Without a Trace" and "One Tree Hill." Original cast member Estabrook, who portrays all of the adult women, is a 1998 Drama Desk Award winner for The Boys Next Door and has also appeared on Broadway in The Sisters Rosensweig and The Cherry Orchard.
