Devised by director Stephen Daldry, the anniversary was celebrated by a one night only event, in which the trio of boys who originated the title role returned to share the stage, with each boy playing Billy in alternating scenes throughout the performance. John joined the boys in his unique garb for the performance’s curtain call.
