Short Talks on the Universe was a two-night only evening of world premiere short plays written and performed by some of theatre's best. Included in the evenings, directed by Daniel Sullivan (Proof): Angela Lansbury and Chris O'Donnell in Terence McNally's theatrical ode Ghost Light, Bette Midler in Nora Ephron's female rant I Hate My Purse and Christine Baranski and Kevin Kline as a couple with some hilarious secrets in Steve Martin's 3 A.M. The Nov. 17-18 shows at the Eugene O'Neill benefitted Friends In Deed and the not-for-profit Bay Street Theatre of Sag Harbor, NY.
