The ceremony is set to begin at 8 PM ET and will be hosted by Kevin Hart.
Among the 2011 nominees are Jennifer Hudson ("Dreamgirls"), Don Cheadle (Public Theater's Topdog/Underdog), Kerry Washington (Race), Sean "Diddy" Combs (A Raisin in the Sun) and Usher (Chicago).
In addition, two films written and directed by Tyler Perry, "For Colored Girls" and "Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too," are nominated for Best Movie, along with Neil LaBute's remake of "Death at a Funeral," "The Book of Eli" starring Tony Award winner Denzel Washington (Fences), and "Takers."
Comedian Steve Harvey will also be a special honoree and receive the BET Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic activities.
Singer Chris Brown leads the list with six nominations and is set for a live performance. Singers Jill Scott and Alicia Keys will also perform.
