Got a play about what it means to be a teenager? Why not send it to PathWay Productions' National Playwriting Contest? The winning dramatist will receive $200 and a possible production at PathWay's Summer Theatre Workshop. Also, all scripts are considered for marketing to high schools and youth groups around the world. In fact, last year's Lemon Squeeze premiered in Hong Kong and will get a staging in Paris this month. Artistic director Brent Beerman contacted Playbill On-Line to note that PathWay looks for "interesting, cutting edge plays."
For more information on the contest, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope for entry to PathWay Productions, 9561 East Daines Dr., Temple City, CA 91780 or e-mail [email protected]. There is no fee to enter.
