Melting Pot's stage adaptation of the Paranormal Activity horror films is now set to haunt London's West End for a longer engagement.

The limited run, which will begin performances December 5 at the Ambassadors Theatre, will now continue through March 28, 2026. Felix Barrett directs.

Paranormal Activity, which also recently opened at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, will continue its North American tour, playing the Center Theatre Group, Ahmanson Theatre, Los Angeles; Shakespeare Theatre Company, Washington, D.C.; and American Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco.

Producer Simon Friend said in a statement: "It is wonderful to see such excitement for our upcoming show, following hugely successful initial engagements in Leeds last year, and now Chicago as well this month. We can’t wait for West End audiences to experience the exceptional stagecraft from our dynamite creative team, in a show which has proven itself to be mysterious, macabre, and enormously entertaining as well.”

Inspired by the horror film franchise, the new play is directed by Punchdrunk Founder and Artistic Director Barrett, and written by playwright Levi Holloway, whose theatrical thriller Grey House played Broadway in 2023. The original Paranormal Activity film, released in 2009, reimagined the found footage genre for a new generation, grossing nearly $200 million worldwide and kicking off a blockbuster franchise spanning six sequels. The play, aimed at audiences 15 and above, again reimagines the modern ghost story by reinterpreting the original domestic horror with theatrical illusion.

The production also has set and costume design by Fly Davis, illusions by Chris Fisher, lighting design by Anna Watson, sound design by Gareth Fry, video design by Luke Halls, and casting by Stuart Burt and Ginny Schiller.
