FRIGID New York has announced the lineup of productions that will be presented at the 2024 New York City Fringe Festival. Performances will be held April 3-21 at UNDER St. Marks, The Wild Project, and the 14Y Theater.
The New York City Fringe Festival is an open-lottery based theatre festival that emphasizes freedom of expression and artistic determination. All box office proceeds go directly to the creators of each production.
Productions at UNDER St. Marks will include A Series of Wildfires; The Climate Fables: Debating Extinction & The Trash Garden; Solitary; Sonnets From a Sin-Eater; How I Died a SUPERHERO; A Little Less Than Kind; Drugs, Sex, and Reggaeton: A Colombian Comedy Adventure; Emil Amok: Lost NPR Host, Wiley Filipino, Vegan Trans-Dad; The Princess Strikes Back: One Woman's Search for the Space Cowboy of her Dreams; Joy Ride; Death of a Dandelion; Please Let Me Save You; Fanatical Optimism; No Bones About It; and Dad Girl.
The Wild Project will host productions including The Leading Lady Club: A Feminist (But Still Likable) Sketch Show; Curry & Catharsis; Miss. Adventure; The Importance of Being Anxious; David Rodwin: Miami Madness; The House of Clytemnestra; Michael John Ciszewski: LOVEFOOL; Brokeneck Girls: The Murder Ballad Musical; Schmaltz!; Stroke of Genius: Pantomime Masturbation Throughout Performing Arts History; Delirantes; No f*cks given. None taken. All done.; Walt Kelly's Songs of the Pogo; A Little Bit Pregnant; and LUCINE! or birdshit: a human concerto with string & void.
At the 14Y Theater, productions will include Conversations with My Divorce Attorney; FASTER; Mulan, and NOW; TransMasculine Cabaret, Starring Vulva Va-Voom; Lolo's Boyfriend Show; Blocks of Sensation; In Harmony; The Fountain; Yoga for Billionaires: Do you want to be enlightened or just filthy rich?!; A Date With My Wild; Don't Stop Believing: A Theatric Remix of the 1980s; A Drag is Born; Too Much of a Good Thing; Flossy Follies; and On Cats and Dogs and Other Family Revelations.
