News NT Live Broadcasts Will Include John, Treasure Island, The Hard Problem, Plus Ralph Fiennes in Man and Superman The National Theatre Live screening series will continue Dec. 9 with the broadcast of DV8 Physical Theatre’s John, a work conceived and directed by Lloyd Newson, live from the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre to cinemas internationally.

Dates will vary at venues internationally, and encore screenings will follow. Click here for screening details.

Based on interviews conducted by DV8 artistic director Lloyd Newson, John combines spoken word with movement. The production contains adult themes, strong language and nudity.

John, according to press notes, "follows the extraordinary life story of one man. John. After years of crime, drug use and struggling to survive, John’s desire for a new life leads him to a place unknown by most."
