Two-time Tony Award winner Kara Young and three-time Emmy Award nominee Nicholas Braun will lead the return of Gruesome Playground Injuries Off-Broadway this season. Directed by Neil Pepe, the new production of Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph's play will begin performances at the Lucille Lortel Theatre November 7 for a limited run through December 28.

The play centers on Kayleen and Doug, whose lives have intersected at the most bizarre intervals over the course of 30 years, leading the two childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together.

"I have known and loved Rajiv Joseph's work for years and am thrilled to be directing this seminal play,” said Neil Pepe in a statement. “And to have the opportunity to work with these two extraordinary actors, Kara Young and Nicholas Braun, is a gift."

Full creative team information will be revealed at a later date.

Tickets will be available online and at the box office for Lortel members beginning at 12 PM September 24. Tickets will be available beginning September 26 at 12 PM exclusively on the TodayTix website and app. General sales will begin at 10 AM September 29.
