Billed as a "morality tale for the new millennium," Ctrl+Alt+Delete will make its New York premiere at Off-Broadway's Playhouse 91 in Oct.
The new dot.comedy by Anthony Clarvoe will begin previews on Saturday, Oct. 19 under the direction of Ethan McSweeney, who helmed the Tony Award nominated revival of The Best Man. Ctrl+Alt+Delete received its world premiere at the San Jose Repertory Theatre and also played New Jersey's George Street Playhouse last season. Its official New York opening is scheduled for Nov. 10.
Clarvoe's play concerns a whiz kid who joins forces with a global market leader to create a billion dollar plan that turns into a Wall Street house of cards. Playwright Clarvoe has also written Let's Play Two, Ambition Facing West, The Living and Pick Up Ax. He is the recipient of Drama Logue, Jefferson and Elliot Norton awards.
Ctrl+Alt+Delete will play Tuesday through Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 and 7 PM at Playhouse 91, which is located in New York City at 316 East 91st Street (between First and Second Avenues). Tickets are priced at $55 and are available by calling the theatre's box office at (212) 831-2000 or Ticketmaster at (212) 307-4100.
