Off-Broadway's Jose Quintero Theatre will say goodbye to Monster on March 19; it began Feb. 17 (opening Feb. 20). The new comic mystery is by Frank Hertle and will be directed by David Copeland.

Monster tells the story of an isolated rural family who receive an unexpected visitor one night, sparking wild paranoia among the clan. The cast includes Silverio Avellino, David Copeland, Jessica Faith, Haley Graham, Joe Hoover, Joanna McNeilly and the single-named Vanessa.

Hertle is a member of the 42nd Street workshop. Copeland's acting credits include Arturo Ui at the Theatre Company of Boston.

The former Kaufman Theatre was recently rechristened the Jose Quintero, after the co-founder of Circle in the Square and famous director of Eugene O'Neill plays.
