Michael Stuhlbarg will perform in tonight's first preview of Broadway's Patriots at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre as planned. Stuhlberg was reportedly attacked in the street near Central Park March 31, where a stranger threw a rock at him. The actor was bruised but the incident will not prevent tonight's performance, per a production statement.

"The entire Patriots company fully supports Mr. Stuhlbarg, who feels fine and is looking forward to performing on stage tonight," reads the statement released by the production's press representatives.

Stuhlberg's reported attack is one of two that befell Broadway performers March 31. The Notebook star John Cardoza was also reportedly robbed in Upper Manhattan, when his wallet was stolen. Cardoza was not injured in the incident, and immediately went to work after. In a statement posted on his Instagram stories, Cardoza wrote: "I was grateful to have a place to head immediately after, full of people I love, to do work that I love. So I've been in good hands." The Notebook is next scheduled to perform April 2 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

Neither crime happened near the actors' theatres, nor in the Theatre District at all.
