Singer-pianist Michael Feinstein is home for the holidays—in nightclubs that bear his name in San Francisco and New York.
Feinstein will be at Feinstein’s at the Nikko at 222 Mason Street in San Francisco with Home for the Holidays November 29 through December 3. The concert includes a mix of standards from the Great American Songbook, along with a selection of holiday favorites. Showtimes are 7 PM November 29, 8 PM November 30–December 2, and 7 PM December 3. Tickets, which cost $64–$105, can be ordered here, or by calling (866) 663-1063.
Feinstein will then turn to the East Coast Feinstein’s/54 Below in Manhattan, December 18–25 and 27–30, with all-new show Christmas Crooners, which celebrates “the magic of the holidays” including a segment of seasonal songs made famous by singers Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, and others.
Feinstein told Playbill he’s planning holiday favorites and contemporary surprises, from “White Christmas“ to “Home” from The Wiz, and “some of your favorite swinging American standards by Frank, Sammy and Dean,“ plus Christmas tunes from classic movies and songs like "A Song for You" by Leon Russell and "Kiss" by Prince.
