The cast and creators of 2025 Tony-winning Best Musical Maybe Happy Ending will hold a cast album signing event at The Drama Book Shop July 29 at 1 PM. Fans will be able to get CD and vinyl editions of the album, released earlier this year via Ghostlight Records, signed by the complete cast, plus Tony-winning co-writer Hue Park. Tickets can be reserved here.
Cast members there to sign albums will include 2025 Tony winner Darren Criss, Helen J Shen, Dez Duron, and Marcus Choi. Admission to the signing event requires a pre-order of the album. Stream the album here. The vinyl release is due June 13.
The musical continues its run at the Belasco Theatre. Opening night was November 12, 2024. The musical, featuring a Tony-winning book and score by Park and Will Aronson, is currently flying high as the most Tony-winning show of the season. The Broadway cast features Shen and Criss starring as, respectively, Claire and Oliver, South Korea-based Helperbots that have been deemed obsolete. The pair form an unlikely bond, setting off a surprising and romantic adventure. The company is rounded out by understudies Steven Huynh, Hannah Kevitt, Daniel May, Claire Kwon, and Christopher James Tamayo. Casting is by Telsey & Co's Craig Burns.
Two-time Tony winner Michael Arden directs, leading a creative team that also includes includes scenic and additional video designer Dane Laffrey, costume designer Clint Ramos, lighting designer Ben Stanton, sound designer Peter Hylenski, video designer George Reeve, music supervisor Deborah Abramson, and music director John Yun.
