News Martin and Michele Set for Young Frankenstein and Spring Awakening Workshops Young Frankenstein's Andrea Martin and recent Spring Awakening star Lea Michele will lead workshops for Broadway Artists Alliance this summer.

The non-profit educational organization continues its line-up of master classes and workshops that pair young performers with Broadway professionals.

My Favorite Year Tony winner Andrea Martin, who recently earned a Best Featured Actress in a Musical Tony nomination for he role as Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein, will lead a master class that centers around Mel Brooks' latest Broadway musical on June 23.

Joining Martin will be Young Frankenstein cast member Eric Jackson, who will lead participants in a dance class in the style of the musical. Martin will also work one on one with the students in a song interpretation and musical theatre scene study segment.

Lea Michele, who recently exited the Broadway company of Spring Awakening, returns to Broadway Artists Alliance for the July 25 master class.

The Spring Awakening intensive offers participants the opportunity to receive feedback from a representative of Jim Carnahan Casting, the agency responsible for populating Spring Awakening with its cast of young talent. Michele will also offer a song interpretation class, focusing on contemporary and pop musical theatre. Upcoming Broadway Artists Alliance master classes include High School Musical (July 6) and Legally Blonde (August 14). BAA will also offer a two-week musical theatre intensive and three-day advanced summer workshops throughout July and August.
