Directed by Moisés Kaufman, the free reading of Sarah Ruhl's comedy will be held at 3 PM. Part of the acclaimed "Out Loud" weekly play-reading series, the new work concerns a doctor, her husband, his lover and their Brazilian maid. Playwright Ruhl received an M.F.A. from Brown University, and her plays have been developed at such institutions as the Joseph Papp Public Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, Playwrights Horizons, Arena Stage, the McCarter Theatre and Seattle Repertory. Marsha Mason's Broadway credits include The Night of the Iguana, The Good Doctor and Happy Birthday, Wanda June. She received Academy Award nominations for her performances in "Only When I Laugh," "Chapter Two," "The Goodbye Girl" and "Cinderella Liberty." Director Kaufman was recently nominated for a Tony Award for his direction of the Tony-winning Best Play I Am My Own Wife.
