This month, according to press notes, "stop by 54 Below after the show, loosen your tie and enjoy as Broadway's nighclub expands its late night series. Joining Tuesday nights' popular 'Backstage with Susie Mosher' will be three new late night events featuring bright and upcoming New York talent."
"The Callback" will be held Monday nights beginning March 18. Contestants, chosen by video audition, will perform for a chance to win their own cabaret show at 54 Below. Their performances will be recorded and uploaded to 54 Below's Facebook and YouTube page, and each week, a winner will be determined by audience vote to progress to the next round. "The Callback" contestants may also have the chance to sing in front of industry executives and Broadway celebrity guest judges as they move forward in the competition.
"Late Night at 54 Below," which kicked off March 6, features up-and-coming New York talent, including comedians, musicians, songwriters and improv groups. Each week features a different artist.
"54 Piano Bar," beginning March 7, features performances "on a whim," accompanied by the cabaret's house pianist.
The late-night series at 54 Below takes place Monday-Thursday from 11 PM-1AM and beyond. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum for all late night events. Visit 54Below.com for more information.
