Here we go again!

After a six-month limited engagement on Broadway, the North American tour of the international hit musical Mamma Mia! will resume next month.

The 25th anniversary tour, following the record-breaking run at Broadway's Winter Garden, will resume March 5 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The full list of tour cities can be found by visiting MammaMiatheTour.com

New principal casting for the tour includes Jessica Crouch (Pretty Woman) as Donna Sheridan, Juliette M. Ojeda (The Notebook) as Sophie Sheridan, and Leland Burnett (The Bridges of Madison County) as Bill Austin plus new company members Steven Gagliano as Eddie, Maddie Garbaty as Ali, Dominic Young as Pepper, Julia Charkales, Kate Cummings, Rob Hancock, Alex Lanning, Jaden T. Martinez, Jason Mulay, Emma X. O’Loughlin, Sarah Santos, and Kristina Walz.

These artists will join returning principal company members Carly Sakolove as Rosie, Jalynn Steele as Tanya, Rob Marnell as Harry Bright, Victor Wallace as Sam Carmichael, and Grant Reynolds as Sky plus returning ensemble members Lena Owens as Lisa, Sarah Agrusa, Alessandra Antonelli, Jordan De Leon, Andy Garcia, Danny Lopez-Alicea, Makoa, Erica Mansfield, Faith Northcutt, Blake PriceDorian Quinn, Lauren Soto, and George Vickers V

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Mamma Mia! is written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast. The production is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material, and arrangements by Martin Koch.

Mamma Mia! premiered on Broadway October 18, 2001, at the Winter Garden Theatre, where it continued through October 19, 2013. The production then transferred to the Broadhurst November 2, 2013, playing through September 12, 2015.

Since premiering in London in 1999 and subsequently on Broadway in 2001, Mamma Mia! has been seen by over 70 million people across the world, and turned into two films. The 25th anniversary North American tour recouped its cost in just 13 weeks on the road. That production played Broadway's Winter Garden August 14, 2025-February 1, 2026.

The musical is set on the eve of a wedding, as a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they had last visited 20 years ago. Songs include "Dancing Queen," "The Winner Takes It All," "Money, Money, Money," and "Take a Chance on Me."

The North American tour production team is led by associate director  Martha Banta, associate choreographer  Janet Rothermel, and associate music supervisor  David Holcenberg, along with associate scenic designer Brian Webb, associate costume designer Lucy Gaiger, associate lighting designer Ed McCarthy, associate sound designer David Patridge, and associate hair designer Jeff Knaggs.  

The stage management team includes production stage manager RL Campbell, stage manager Andrew Volzer, and assistant stage manager Sauniq Lawson. The tour is booked by The Booking Group with casting by The TRC Company

Mamma Mia! is produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East, and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal. Amy Jacobs of Bespoke Theatricals is the executive producer in association with Work Light Productions.
