News Louis & Keely, Julie White, Troubadour Theatre Are 2010 Ovation Winners in L.A. The L.A. Stage Alliance handed out its 2010 Ovation Awards on Jan. 11, honoring excellence in Southern Califonria theatre for the 2008-09 season. The awards presentation was at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.

Center Theatre Group (Lydia at the Mark Taper Forum and The Little Dog Laughed at the Kirk Douglas Theatre) led with four wins, followed by the Troubadour Theatre Company (Alice in One Hit Wonderland and As U2 Like It) and the Louis & Keely producing team (Louis & Keely, Live at the Sahara) with three each.

For her West Coast appearance in the play that won her a Best Actress Tony Award, Julie White won a Best Actress Ovation Award for The Little Dog Laughed.

The Troubadour Theatre Company was honored with the newest Ovation Award for Best Season.
