Australian comedian Lou Wall is bringing their latest solo show Breaking the Fifth Wall to Off-Broadway's SoHo Playhouse for a limited, three-week engagement. Performances will run September 17-October 5.

Directed by Zoë Coombs Marr, the work explores the line between comic exaggeration and lying in stand-up, covering "lying, the internet, and mental breakdowns," according to press notes. The Off-Broadway bow follows earlier runs in Edinburgh and Australia.

This latest solo show is a follow-up to Wall's viral sensation from Melbourne Comedy Festival, in which they shared a story about trying to sell a bed frame on Facebook Marketplace. A video of the set garnered 50 million views worldwide in just 48 hours, making Wall a certified global comedy star.

Mike & Carlee Productions is producing.

Tickets are at SoHoPlayhouse.com.
