Flahooley, which premiered in 1951 in a production that featured the Broadway debuts of Barbara Cook and Yma Sumac, has book and lyrics by E.Y. Harburg and Fred Saidy, with music by Sammy Fain. According to press materials, this satirical and allegorical fairy tale, with genies, magic lamps and a doll maker had an underlying contemporary social satire that Harburg bravely registered in one of the few attacks on McCarthyism to be heard on the American stage. It will play May 13, 20, 27 and June 3. Aladdin, Cole Porter's last work written specially for a one-off live American television broadcast and never seen since, was co-written with S. J. Perelman. It originally starred Basil Rathbone and Sal Mineo and featured the song "Come To The Supermarket In Old Peking." It will play Aug. 19, 26, Sept. 1 and 2.
Produced and directed by Ian Marshall Fisher, the Lost Musicals seasons have been running since 1989.
