News Little Shop of Horrors Featured on Dancing with the Stars In week 8 of the competition, one duo danced to the music of Alan Menken.

On Halloween night, the contestants of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars entertained with routines themed to the holiday. While some opted for spooky—like a Viennese Waltz dressed as the Suicide Squad—country singer Jana Kramer and her professional partner Gleb Savchenko put a Broadway horror spin on their jazz routine.

The two danced to the opening number of Little Shop of Horrors, calling it Little Shop of Jazz. Written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman about the disheveled flower-shop worker who garners fame and the girl he loves by raising a blood-sucking plant, the musical is a staple among theatre lovers.

The pair earned a total score of 27 out of 30 from the judges. Swimmer Ryan Lochte was kicked off this week, as season 23 of the reality competition continues.

For the upcoming episode, November 7, all of the routines on the show will be Broadway-themed.
