The Broadway cast recording of Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 will be released by Reprise Records May 19. Prior to the two-disc release, Vulture is offering a first listen, which features Tony nominees Josh Groban and Denée Benton—both making their Broadway debuts with the production.
The musical transforms Broadway’s Imperial Theatre into an opulent Russian supper club, and features an electro-pop opera score by Dave Malloy. Rachel Chavkin directs.
