Rabe, who was to again portray Commander Lyme in the second part of the "Hunger Games: Mockinjay" films, has been replaced by "Game of Thrones" actress Gwendoline Christie. Rabe will appear as Lyme in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay–Part 1," which will hit theatres this fall.
As previously reported, Rabe will co-star with Hamish Linklater in the Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of Much Ado About Nothing, which begins performances June 3 at the Delacorte Theater. Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien (The Nance, Macbeth, Hairspray) will direct the comedy.
Rabe previously starred in the Shakespeare in the Park productions of The Merchant of Venice and As You Like It.
Rabe is a Tony Award nominee for The Merchant of Venice, which transferred to Broadway following its Shakespeare in the Park run. Her Broadway credits also include Seminar, The American Plan, Heartbreak House and Steel Magnolias. Her screen credits include "American Horror Story" and "The Good Wife," among others.
