Side Show's Tony-nominated lyricist and librettist Bill Russell will return to Birdland September 30 with his newest show, Divas I Love Singing Lyrics I Wrote.

Special guests for the 7 PM concert will include Tony winners Lillias White (The Life, Hadestown) and Alice Ripley (Next to Normal, Side Show), Erin Davie (Side Show, Grey Gardens), and Charity Angél Dawson (Side Show, & Juliet).

The Broadway guest stars will perform songs from Side Show; Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens; Pageant; and other musicals with Russell talking about how those songs came to be.

Music director Mark Hartman will be featured on piano with Jeff Potter on drums and John Loehrke on bass.
